Step‑By‑Step Recording Guide

1. Select your recording source: use the dropdown menu labeled Recording Source to choose whether you want to capture your screen, your webcam, or both. Choosing Screen will record everything on your display, while Webcam will record footage from your camera.
2. Choose recording quality and resolution: select from multiple quality options (Low, Medium, High) and resolutions (720p, 1080p, etc.) to balance file size and image clarity. Higher resolutions produce clearer videos but result in larger files.
3. Set the audio source: decide whether to include audio in your recording. Options include None (for silent video) or your system’s microphone or audio device for voice‑over or sound capture.
4. Name your file: type a descriptive name in the Video Filename field. This makes it easier to identify your recordings later.
5. Start recording: click the blue Start Recording button. Do not forget to allow Camera and/or Microphone on your web browser before starting! A live preview will appear on the right side of the screen so you can monitor what’s being captured. You can pause, resume or stop the recording using the controls below.
6. Download your video: when you’ve finished, click Stop and then Download to save the recording to your device. Your video will be saved in a widely supported format so you can edit or share it easily.

Tips for Better Recordings

To get the best results, if you’re recording your screen, clean up your desktop and close unnecessary tabs to keep the video focused. When capturing audio, use a headset or external microphone to improve sound quality and reduce background noise.
